The research theme of our group is to investigate the structure-property relationships at the atomic level by using a combination of Brillouin and Raman light scattering techniques and multi-scale computer simulation and modeling methods. The overall goal is to develop a basic understanding for the rational design of materials with superior properties for energy, environment and biology-related applications.
