Adelaide is probably daughter of Ulric Manfred II, Count of Susa {per "Ancestral Roots of Sixty New England Colonists," Frederick L. Weis, Lancaster, Mass.. 1950, p.60; her father is Ulric, Margrave of Susa, per "Ancestral Roots of Magna Charta Barons," Carr P. Collins, Jr., Dallas, 1959}. She was heiress of Turin.
