Finish Shapiro's ELIZA, i.e., (p1). Due by
5pm on day of final exam for studio audience. Due on same
day as final for home audience (emailed to Selim as ASCII
attachment).
- Project 2.
Do (p1), i.e., ELIZA, up to and including 18.27. Due for studio audience
6/10. This is an extension which will propagate to home audience as well.
Should end up being 6 days hence, i.e., 6/16 -- but Celeste will handle and
confirm.
- Project 1. Build ELIZA from Shapiro's text up to and
including 14.8 on page 92. In other words, produce the Lisp
code that results from solving every (p1) exercise from the
start of Shapiro's book up to and including exercise 14.8.
Due May 27; see Schedule in the
syllabus. (For those who want to do something
more adventurous: do the normal project,
and implement an initial
version of GUESS WHO?, with an agent that plays it against a
human. Provide an ASCII representation of the human player's board
to be shown constantly, and the ability to display the artificial
agent's board in ASCII as well. Note that you are undertaking
this harder task on your own: me and the TA will have a hard enough
time handling issues arising from the standard project.)
