Constrained Vapor Bubble

The constrained vapor bubble experiment (CVB) is a microgravity heat pipe experiment.  Heat pipes are passive heat transfer devices that are present in virtually all present day laptops, in both Mars rovers, and in the Hubble Space Telescope to keep critical components cool.

Micro-2

The micro-2 experiment is a microgravity biofilm experiment.  Biofilms are present on earth and in space, transported their by astronauts and their equipment.  The growth of biofilms is important in confined spaces like the space station where biofilms foul both equipment and critical areas such as water supply systems.
