Answer questions 6.3, 6.4, and 6.6 from Ecker and Kupferschmid, Chapter 6. In addition, read chapter 6 in the text.

This homework will not be collected or graded. You need to do these questions in order to master the material and be ready for the second exam.

The second exam will be in class on Friday, November 5. Old exams will be placed online for review. The exam will contain one question from Homework 3 (chapter 5) or Homework 4 (chapter 6) or Homework 5 (Chapter 7). Solutions to chapters 5–7 from the text will be made available on the course webpage.
