The Media-Augmented Exercise Machine Project was undertaken as an experimental Research Studio in the Spring of 2001. Ted Krueger was the principal investigator and Jerry Wall co-investigator. David Fitts and Brian Peacock served as NASA contacts and advisors.
Stephen McCaul was responsible for electronics, programming and sound, Art Banks for CAD/CAM, and Valentina Gaglio for video production. In addition, the project team included Tran Le, with assistance from Iova Dineva, Walter Jennings, Jason Wright and Russell Krueger. The Project was supported by the School of Architecture of the University of Arkansas with additional funding provided by the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium. Interim Dean Jeff Shannon and Dr. Collis Geren, University of Arkansas VP for Research were particularily supportive of this project. Lionel Moura, Jean Louis Maubant and Dr. Jens Shelling curated the exhibitions. | |||
