One 8 1/2 by 11 crib sheet of notes is allowed on each test. No other notes, books, calculators, laptops, cellphones, Palm pilots or any other aids are allowed.
Test 1: Expected during the first week of March. Topics to be announced.
Test 2: Expected during the last week of April or the first week of May. Topics to be announced.
There will an optional final exam at the end of the semester for those unhappy with their previous grades. By taking the final, you give up all your previous grades. In other words, the grade on the final exam will supersede all the previous grades and will constitute 100% of your grade in the class, so do not take the final exam unless you are sure that you will do better than during the semester.
