So what is digital mogul? Broadly, it's a forum to explore how digital technology is impacting the entertainment and media industries. Specifically, it addresses the intersection where the entertainment, media and technology industries are merging.

Our primary goal (drum roll, please) is to provide what no other analyst, pundit, techno-geek nor soothsayer delivers: clear, cogent, no-nonsense dissection of this muddy intersection, as merging accelerates, new market opportunities emerge, and the affected industries evolve.

digital mogul is currently published monthly. In addition to publishing the journal, we also:

  • perform strategic consulting and research for entertainment, media and technology companies, such as digital entertainment branding and electronic cinema and broadband market analysis
  • research and publish multi-client studies on areas of importance to our clients, such as digital delivery of music

We plan to launch an advertising-based free weekly version of dm in fall, 1999, and print and TV editorial products in the coming months. Details will be made available in a painstaking, methodical process. No one will be injured. Governments and corporations will not fall.
