I work as a Senior Web Producer for Communications & Middleware Technologies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My colleagues and I develop and support enterprise applications to address the needs of the Rensselaer community. My responsibilities include:

• web application development primarily with jsp & java using Jakarta Struts or the Spring Framework in the J2EE environment;
• xml & xslt development;
• javascript & AJAX techniques;
• user interface design, site architecture, usability and navigation;
• graphic design and layout;

• Bedework & Large Venue Ticketing (1MB PDF) Gary Schwartz and Arlen Johnson, October, 2008. Bedework was used as the central component in a ticketing system for Rensselaer's Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center, exploiting the calendar as an application platform.
