Fulk V was "King of Jerusalem" as a Crusader. His wife was Ermenburge "of La Fleche" (aka Erembourg of Maine); after
her death he married Melisande, eldest daughter of Baldwin II (King of Jerusalem, whom Fulk V succeeded as its third
royal ruler) - this marriage occured in 1129. An eye--witness, Archbishop William of Tyre, described Fulk as "...a ruddy
man, like David...faithful and gentle, affable and kind...a powerful prince...and very successful in ruling his own
