Managerial Finance (MGMT 2320-03) - Fall 08
Brief course description: An introduction to corporate financial analysis and
decision making. This course covers the following topics: financial statement analysis, valuation principles,
risk and return analysis, working capital management, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure,
and dividend policy. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: MGMT 2300 or permission of instructor.
When Offered: Fall and spring terms annually. Credit Hours: 4

- Recommended: Fundamentals of Corporate Finance, by Stephen A. Ross, Randolph W. Westerfield, and Bradford D. Jordan, McGraw-Hill Irwin, 7th Ed. 2006.
- August 25: Welcome to Managerial Finance, Section 3! Please bookmark this page and visit often for announcements and to get handouts, data, etc.
- September 2: The first homework assignment will be handed on Friday (9/5) and will be due in a week on 9/12.
- September 19: The second homework assignment is handed out and will be due in a week on 9/26. The first project has also begun. The project report will be due on October 17.
- October 6: The third homework assignment is due in class tomorrow - Oct 7. No late homework will be accepted. The solutions will be handed out in class.
- October 6: The First Exam is scheduled for Oct 10. It is a closed-notes, closed-book exam. Remember to bring your calculators.
- November 30: The presentations for Project II to happen in class on Tuesday, Dec 2. Please send all your slides, etc. to me by e-mail before 8pm on Dec 1.
