Description:

 

Presenters will discuss the theoretical foundations of ethnomathematics, provide an international overview of curricular projects, and detail their own projects with Chicano families, African hairstyles, and the African game of oware.  In this course, participants will develop plans for implementing a curricular or research activity in ethnomathematics.
