Peter Brand has been part of the RPI Linear Accelerator (LINAC) facility’s staff since 1985. As the Accelerator Engineer Peter would like to see the facility continue to provide service to the scientific and research communities. He is actively participating in marketing, applications, and new research areas for the facility. Peter is presently performing upgrades and renovation to the existing equipment.
Peter obtained his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering in 1995 from Rensselaer and an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology in 1980 from Hudson Valley Community College. Peter enjoys Amateur Radio and has been licensed since 1976. He is a member of the American Radio Relay League and the Schenectady Amateur Radio Association.
