EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
- Adjunct Professor in ECSE and DSES Dept. at the Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI),
Troy, NY, where he teaches the course ``Fuzzy Logic and
Computational Intelligence (course taught every year since 1982).
- 1991:Two televised lectures on Fuzzy Logic Applications:
IEEE video-conference (April 91) and National Technological University seminar
(December 91).
- 1991: Plenary session speaker for AAAI-91, with talk:
Approximate Reasoning Systems: A personal perspective
- Since 1992 he has given several televised and/or video-taped tutorial
for IEEE.
He has also given several tutorials on approximate reasoning and fuzzy logic at
FUZZ-IEEE'92, NASA Third International Workshop on Neural Networks ond Fuzzy
Logic'92, the 1992 Western New York Fuzzy Logic Conference (organized by
Kodak), the Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montreal (CRIM), and the 1994
Uncertainty in AI Conference.
